Watched the movie yesterday... Had been a few years didn't enter the cinema during CNY... This year 家有喜事 2009 lead me into it again....
Instead of the love lives of three brothers, this 2009 edition is about a brother-sister pair by Sandra Ng and Ronald Cheng. The sister is a hot-tempered magazine editor and her temperament has left her single all this while. This jeopardizes Ronald’s marriage plan because they have a traditional family and one of the rules is that none of the siblings could get married before their eldest sister. In view of this, Kei sort help from the famous “Casanova”, Dick (Louis Koo), who is the new journalist in Sandra’s firm to pretend to court his eldest sister and lure her into the mood of love.
But while Sandra falls head over heels for Dick, her love is sadly not mutual. When she suspects that Dick may have fallen for someone else, she engages someone claiming to be a private detective (Raymond Wong) to follow Dick around. The story goes complicated and hilarity...

Its a comedy........ hahhaaa many funny shots... and laughter heard in the cinema all the way...
there are some familiar scene from the previous Alls Well Ends Well (家有喜事) and Alls Well Ends Well 2007 (家有喜事2007) Chinese New Year movies that starred by Stephen Chow and the late Leslie Cheung. A few classic ''經典'' shots came alive in this movie again but the movie are not related. Hahhaa.. quite memorable... "懷念" the past years....

Besides the old cast of Raymond Wong and Sandra Ng, this 2009 add in Ronald Cheng, Louis Koo, and 2 gals (i think they are from China... one of them act as Louis's gf is quite sweet and pretty).

One of my surprise .. is that quite a few actor and actress film appearance in the movie, eg. Charlene Choi, Hotcha, Donnie Yen, Theresa Fu, Yumiko Cheng, Mark Lui etc..
