"Marley and Me" was actually from a novel written by Author John Grogan.
the book portrays Grogan and his family's life during the thirteen years that they lived with their dog Marley, and the relationships and lessons from this period.
The movie starts with a just married couple, John Grogan (Owen Wilson) and his wife Jennifer Grogan (Jennifer Aniston). John wanted to have a baby of their own but Jennifer was not ready yet. Then he was advise by his friend to get a pet first.
so he gave Jennifer a surprise bringing her to choose a puppy. A yellow Labrador Retriever was chosen from a clearance sale. They then named it Marley.
they soon find out that Marley's is in being the world's worst dog, and his behaviour just reinforces that – peeing indiscriminately, chewing anything, drinking from the toilet bowl, running everywhere and knocking into things. Even they can't drag still Marley. He is just hyper active to bang everywhere and bring lots of headache for the couple.
Marley is so cute and he cant stop eating... even until he was too full and heavy to stand.
and their first time at the dog beach. Marley just fleed away chasing the birds !!! he was totally out of control..
Marley starts to behave when the family had children.

Marley accompanied them all the ups and down. Sadly Marley left the family in the end when he was sick of stomach twisted due to his old age.
remember to bring some tissue into the cinema... coz its very touching, can hear most ppl is sobbing.
told by a friend, the movie story was shortened compared to the novel that described more of Marley.
but the movie was still great... if you are a pet lover, this movie is a must to watch... =]

Ya, 90% of the ppl are sobbing....even guys! I tried to refrain myself from crying at the end. Hahaha....touching show...
